Catherine Anne

 Catherine Anne O'Hara OC (born March 4th, 1954)is a Canadian-American actress, comedian, and writer. O'Hara has been the recipient of numerous awards including a Genie Award and a Golden Globe Award. O'Hara also received two Screen Actors Guild Awards, two Primetime Emmy Awards, six Canadian Screen Awards, and two Screen Actors Guild Awards. In 2018, she was named an Officer of Canada. In 2020, she was presented with the Governor General's Performing Arts Lifetime Artistic Achievement award. O'Hara made her debut as an actor in 1974, when she was part of The Second City, an Improv comedy group in Toronto. Dan Aykroyd and John Candy were also in her main cast in the sitcom Coming Up Rosie (1975-1978). O'Hara and Candy started work on Second City Television's sketch comedy show (1976-1984). O'Hara won a Primetime Emmy Award in 1981 for her outstanding writing for a Variety Series. In 2022, O'Hara was added to the newly formed Second City artistic advisory board headed by Stephen Colbert, along with Steve Carell, Dwayne Colbert, Tina Fey, Keegan-Michael Key, Julia Louis-Dreyfus Jane Lynch, Tim Meadows, Peter Murrieta, Suzy Nakamura Sam Richardson, Jeff Richmond, Jason Sudeikis, and Robin Thede.
