Kyra Minturn
Kyra Minturn, born on August 19, 1965, is an American actress. She also works as an actor and producer. She is best known for portraying the role of the Deputy Chief Brenda Leigh Johnson (TVN crime drama The Closer). Sedgwick was awarded the Golden Globe Award in 2007 for her portrayal of Johnson and an Emmy Award 2010 for her performance. The seventh season of the show concluded on August 13, 2012. Sedgwick is also famous for her recurring role on Brooklyn Nine-Nine as Madeline Wuntch. Sedgwick was nominated to the Golden Globe for her role in Something to Talk About (1995). Sedgwick's roles in other films include Oliver Stone's Born to the Fourth of July (1989) as well as Cameron Crowe's solos (1992) as well as Heart and Souls(93), Phenomenon (1996) as well as What's Cooking (2000) as well as Secondhand Lions (2003).
